One of the more close up shots I got of the horses being washed in the river at Appleby. It was lovely to watch the young boys taking their horses for a swim and becoming more daring each time, standing up on their horses' backs.

Have horses drowned here? Jw cause when i was younger I wasn't aloud to come because of that.. I'm not really sure though and a havnt been down yet:L
