The Story of Anne Frank

This was my final piece for my AS Art Coursework, the theme was 'Revealed and Concealed', I tried to explore how Anne Frank and her family concealed themselves in an annex from the extremism in the world surrounding them. Revealing how they responded to their immediate environment.

I collaged the whole of Anne's diary onto some wooden board and produced lots of mixed media illustrations of the story, using quotes from the diary to explain what was going on.

I spent hours and hours on this and am pretty pleased with it however some of it is a little rushed as I had to get it finished on time.
